Just a few questions about my spec

Hi guys, I'm trying to configure a top end, powerful gaming PC for games coming out on 2012 such as Battlefield 3 and Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. I think I have most of the components sorted, but I have a few questions -

First, will my cooling system be enough? I want my computer to be cool and quiet, so I've tried to pick a case with a lot of large fans to reduce noise and temperature, and Im hoping my processor cooling will be enough.

Secondly, is my case ok? I'm not sure if it's big enough for all the components to fit and have good airflow to stop any buildups of heat

Lastly, the power supply - I chose one over 1000W because I plan on adding an extra Geforce 580 GPU in the future, but on the website it isn't listed as branded - does anyone know if it's a good power unit, not an unbranded unreliable one? I would choose the corsair one but it's more expensive and isn't quiet.

Thanks, Josh

Corsiar power supply will be probably more quiet then the unbranded power supply, I would definately go for corsair. Also are you planning to overclock? If not you can get the i7-2600 the one without the K at end, as the K stands for un-locked multiplier and that is only useful if overclocking, and you could change Kingston Ram to samsung. One more thing you can change the secondary hard drive to a caviar green you will get more storage for less.

Its cheaper than your build and more balanced. The corsair psu are really a must have and a quieter than others. The 3gb 580 is useful if your gaming on higher resolutions. For gaming the i5 2500 is a very good cpu and should be more than enough.

thanks guys! No I don't plan on overclocking, so I've chosen the i7 2600 instead (I think i'd prefer it to the i5 2500), and chose the 1000W corsair power supply.

oops sorry adnangulaid, I know they're coming out in 2011 I just mentally think 2012 because it's the start of a new year at uni! Any reason why you chose the coolermaster CM storm sniper case? is it better than the phantom?

and do you think the cooling should be sufficient?

thanks again for the help! :)

no problem but the sniper in my opinion looks better and has better cooling :). Also if your gaming then the 2500 and 2600 is identical only if your using extreme software then the hyper threading would be useful.
