It has arrived, but something is missing

The computer arrived a couple of hours ago, been unpacking slowly and doing other things inbetween, aswell as feeling so very tired.

All appears well to now, other than that the Home plugs that were a part of the order didn't come. I've checked the actual order and invoice to make sure I didn't somehow accidentally miss them out, but they are listed as being apart of my order.

So, just wanted to know, what would the usual procedure be for this, to see what the problem was/is and how it can be resolved?

It's possible it just got missed on the checklist when they were doing the final checks, first thing I'd do is check all the packaging and the welcome pack to make sure they are not hiding anywhere in there.
When you have made sure they are nowhere to be found, give PCS a call, and I'm sure they'll get some sent as asap, they normally send stuff out the same day as long as it's not left too late in the day.

Checked both the main box and the welcome pack, but no where to be seen, unfortunately. Would they normally be in either of those, or a package of their own? Could be that the driver never took the final one out, if so. He was talking to someone on the phone as bringing it over, so he was distracted. :S

I would've thought it would be in the big main box rather than on their own but to be honest I just don't know, as I say probably best to call them.

Yea like Rakk said, I'd imagine they'd put it in the big box as that's what they'd do if you'd order keyboard + mouse, etc. Give them a call and I'm sure they'll get them out to you asap

I know they come well packaged and the box is a lovely thing, but for Christ's sake....have a go on the PC!! and don't forget the pics!

P.S. If you fold the box down, it will fit nicely behind a free-standing wardrobe or under a bed. Chuck the packaging in the attic, just in case the worst happens and you have to RMA one day (hope not).

Also, if you don't need the box for RMA, you can still pull the box out now and again and have a little play with it...seeing how attached to it you seem to have become. :tt1:

I installed Bioshock as the first game, that was foolish. I started it up to see if it worked okay, ran great but ... I ended up on for the past few hours. xD It's already exceeded my expectations.. And the shooting/aiming are a massive treat in comparison to 1 & 2 for the acceleration. Hermit mode is commencing, I think. But yeah.. I haven't even installed any other game yet and just now managed to drag myself off of Bioshock.

And of course, pictures will come soon enough as with a (probably not so well written) review.

Stick with Bioshock Sted. When you start downloading games for fun you'll struggle to stick with anything. I was dying to try every game I could on my new pc which was a massive mistake! Wish I'd just got 1 or 2 games I really wanted and stuck with them.

And don't worry Grimezy, I bought the other games before the rig came and just wanted them ready installed for later. I plan to stick to Bioshock for as long as. Was almost physically stunned by it when it started, even my sister who never really plays games and rarely holds interest in them, she ended up watching me play on it for a while. They really have leapt ahead with this game, and I'm sure some already know I have a lot of love for the previous two already. Haha

And there's not much chance of playing the others yet, I need to finish decorating my room and found I also want a more reliable desk, so I just set it up to make sure it works okay downstairs for now.

As for the little problem, I can say I only have praise for PCS, I didn't have to ring them (luckily, me + phone calls = something that don't mix), but instead emailed, they mentioned they were out of stock and will be dispatched as appropriate. DPD, on the other hand, not so happy with them, it wasn't all bad, but I'll leave that for the DPD comments thread.

I would think they'd come in the same box as you need a pair of two to make the things work. You would only buy separately if you were adding an extra plug to an existing setup :\ what are you using at the moment for your internet?

You can order only one homeplug... so I'd be sure you definitely ordered two or get in touch and if you haven't i'm sure you'll be able to amend the order for another one
