Issues with having games and youtube open

Hello,
I just got a new PC from the site as my now 7 year old PC had reached a point where it could not run new games. I installed the new Assassin's Creed Shadows game and it runs great & looks good. However I like to have youtube videos or streams running on my second monitor while I game and when I tab into the game the video just freezes up, until I tab out of the game and it runs fine again. This isn't just happening with new higher demanding games, its happening with any game I open, even ones my 7 year old PC could run with video open as well.
I'm sure there must be some windows 11 settings that are causing the PC to throw all its focus onto the game and ignore any resources for any other program, but I've tried suggestions from online and haven't found a solution yet.
Does anyone have any suggestions for settings to let me have a game open on my main monitor and a video on my second monitor without it just freezing up.

My system is:

It's a shame you didn't seek advice; the PC is badly designed: the cooler and PSU are insufficient for that build, the case is unknown, the motherboard is really low-end, and Norton is malware!

It's no surprise that you struggle to play anything modern, what monitor are you currently using?

The only suggestion I can give you is to request a refund if you are still within 14 days after delivery and then ask for proper advice on the forum.

I have an AOC 24g1wg4 monitor. The PC does play games fine, it runs smoothly, but it makes any video on my second monitor freeze and just be unwatchable.

I'm not surprised it struggles, to add to what's been said above, I only see one drive, and only a 65 0 W power supply, personally I wouldn't up below a 1000w
