Heya! Looks like it should still be perfectly capable. I’m running 8th gen Intel and it does the job perfectly for me. Generally you get upgrades because you feel like you’re lacking in the system somewhere. If you’d like more FPS, then a new GPU is probably the way to go, want faster load times, pop in an SSD or do a fresh install of windows.

So, is there any where where you feel the system is lacking?That might give us a good point to start from. Do you have a budget for said upgrades? Also what monitor are you currently using with this build (either make and model or resolution and refresh rate would be ideal!)

It's not at all possible to play at 4k on that GPU, you'd need a far higher tier GPU. Must look dreadful at 4k.

But if it's crashing that's just something you need to troubleshoot and fix, likely software

The 3060TI would probably be the ideal minimum for a 4K 60hz display with the 3070 being the ideal option. It's hard to say on price with how volatile the market is right now. I'd keep an eye on the upgrade system from PCS as that's where you'll likely get the best deal unless you can score an Founders Edition. At a guess I think you'd be looking at about £550 from PCS? Although the 60Ti hasn't been on the upgrade system for a while so could go up or down.

You'll also want a higher wattage PSU. 650W would cover it but going for an 850W unit would better cover you for more upgrades down the road so you're less likely to run into the same issue again and have to spend another £XXXon a new PSU in a few years time
