Is something wrong?

Hello PCS I orderded a desktop on 23th may 2012, it's now June 7th, it's on 11th working day - 2 due to bank holidays so 9 workign days, and it's only on pre-production. Is there something wrong with my order? I'm impatient sorry :p I tried calling but no one EVER answers, same with live chat when its online.

I think waiting 15 minutes is patient. 30 minutes is unacceptable, sorry PCS.

Is there a "call you back" facility as this would be an acceptable alternative?

I'm currently at "13th working day" and still in "Pre-Production".

If you look at the status flowchart you'll see it estimates 1-6 days for "Processing" and <1week for "Pre-Production", meaning it estimates you will be "In Building" by June 13th.

I do agree with you, however if they are busy, i'm glad they are using more man-power building PCs rather than answering phones.

Try phoning early in the morning, I phoned then and someone answered and helped me straight away. I expect there is just a huge amount of people forgetting that bank holidays are not working days and phoning up to demand an update about their computer.

My PC was in preproduction for about 9-10 days but once it got into building it shot through, so trust me the wait is worth it :) Just use the pre-production to get to know people on the forums and make sure your order is totally perfect, it costs £5 to make modifications once it goes into building.

I'm still waiting on pre-production too, although I am checking more often than most would seem reasonable I appreciate that this is not a really long time to wait for a top class product.

I have read in several other posts regarding build times and as lady0sheep mentioned, once it does get to the build stage, it should be really quick.

I expect if there were any issues with your order someone from PCS would have been in touch somehow.

It's in-building now!

I did change lots of things so that's why it took longer I guess...
