Is it possible to upgrade the CPU on the Optimus IV after purchase?

Because from pictures show a removable panel to provide access to the CPU, which implies it can be swapped out for another. But i've never heard of this thing before, i always thought laptop CPUs were permanent.

If it is possible, wouldnt that screw up the BIOS?

Most laptop CPU's can be changed,the GPU on the other hand is more often than not soldered,and if so can't normally be changed.
