IPS screens

Hi

I have got an old Optimus 2, and its time to upgrade. Its 2014 and I am looking for a machine with an IPS screen, yet only Ultranote and Cosmos series come with those.

I was checking Optimus V and it fits my needs perfectly yet a lack of good screen prevents me from buying it.


Does anyone know anything about the lack of IPS screens in current configurations? I see that some lines (like Cosmos) were updated recently I am sure others will follow soon. Maybe we will get IPS with the new Optimus (or other mid to high range series)?

Any thoughts?

I think PCS said they were in the process of upgrading their line in laptops for the release of the 8xx series from Nvidia. They have been short on IPS displays for a while now, but I don't have any more details, for exact details you will need to call them im afraid.
