IPS panels in skyfire / vortex iv?

Pretty simple question, are the panels in the skyfire or vortex IV laptops, IPS panels?
Looking for a powerful video editing laptop, as well as light / medium gaming, but IPS panels usually offer a much better colour reproduction and viewing angles than TNs, which is much more important to me, over a little ghosting. Also, why no qhd screens in the higher end 15.6" screens?

Not sure if they are IPS or not, I suspect they are TN, otherwise they would be saying they were IPS as they do on some other models.

I had a 14" SkyFire IV with the 1600x900 panel.

It's average at best.

I wish I could have paid extra for an IPS display, especially one with glass protection like Apple's notebooks have.
