iPad problems

I've got a 1st gen iPad and for a little while now it does this thing where ill be searching the internet on browsing YouTube then it just closes it and goes to the homepage, now its really bad, i cant search the internet, i cant browse YouTube and when i got on the films on my iPad it does the same thing. Anyone got any solution's or advice?

Have you try a system restore?

Aye reset to factory settings and start again might be an option.

I guess the elephant in the room would be to suggest not using an iPad... but that doesn't really solve the problem.

I had something similar with my iPhone, I just done a backup and restore and it seemed to work.
I found sometimes it could be a app installed as after I done the restore it worked fine on factory settings until I restored my backup then it broke again. In the end I stripped all the apps out and only had what I really use and it seems to be fine now.
