Not on the public forums please.
Apologies.
Maybe you could help with this small query.
So I deleted the control centre software completely, rebooted,but yet my profiles(office,game and turbo mode)still appear to function with the dedicated switch!
Plus they don't seem to spool up and down the same as they did with the glitchy Control Center software.
I benchmarked the three modes,which had different CPU power levels from what HW monitor was telling me,thermals were within tolerance,only negative being the fans were always on, around 70% on office mode,and 80% on the other two.
Performance was also very good.
Could this mean that the bios contains the info needed to drive these profiles,and that updating the bios(with prior PCS approval) could solve the issue?

You'd have to ask PCS that question to get an accurate answer.

The issue with my "not on the open forums" comment is because we don't allow file sharing on here, we can never know how safe any shared files are. If you know someone who has a file you want you're welcome to DM them and obtain the file that way.

I would urge EXTREME caution when obtaining system files from people you don't personally know.

Issues were resolved with an EC update,OEM fix and reinstall of Control Center all advised and supplied by PCS.
thanks to JakAttack and all involved for help.

Happy to report that my Ionico was fixed with the bios update (bios n.1.21A09 and EC 1.26.00.00):
- the fans work correctly when booting up the PC (no more the annoying ramp up even with the PC cold)
- the fan profiles are now fixed when installing the control center.
- also as a bonus it fixed the "end" and "-" keys as they were switched up. It wasn't a deal breaker for me, but I'm glad they corrected it.

Thank you all that helped with this issue (y)

Hello,

I have the same problem with my Valeon 17 - 5900hx 3080. Today I've updated to Bios 1.24 EC 1.30 with control center 3.9.38 but fans are completely got in game over. Still fix at 30% or 100% .
The curve is full broken with unexpleanables spikes. I try to attach a photo.
In addition my backlight keyboard deosn't work (turned on in rainbow mode) neither appears in control center (light bar instead appears and works correctly).
Someone could help me? I dont't want to send in RMA for that.

Thanks.

Is this a pcspecialist build?

Can you post your full specs from the order page?

Where did you source the BIOS and control center?

Hi all,

Apologize in advace for bringing up this very old thread if not appropriate, it's been quite a long time frustrated with this issue and finally found the very same symptomps with the FAN settings, unable to adjust the custom FAN control bars, FANs at 30% even with high usage... etc
I do have the keys on the top of my numpad, "-" and "end line" inverted, I read it was fixed with some BIOS+EC update.
I got an Ionico 15 with AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX
I got BIOS N.1.24A10 and EC 1.30.00.00 and still the same behavior, got them from PCS Support back in Sept '24.
My Control Center is 3.9.42.1
No matter which CC version I install, I still have same behavior, even from XMG or other manufacturer.

Wondering if anybody would be kind to share with me their files from that folder please?
C:\Program Files\OEM\Control Center\UniwillService\MyControlCenter\UserFanTables
Or any other newer suggestion/solution?

Hi again,

In case useful:
I contacted as well PCS Support team, with this same info, and they quickly provided with what they called "OEM fix", basically an .exe file for my laptop, "PCS GM5ZG7Y.exe"
Instructions were:
* Uninstall Control Center
* Reboot
* Execute "OEM fix" --> "PCS GM5ZG7Y.exe"
* Reboot
* Install Control Center --> I got last version available on my download portal: version 5.1.49.11
* Reboot

And everything is fixed now, FAN speeds adjust accordingly and automatically, I can customize now FAN control bars, even "-" and "end" keys on the top of my numpad are not inverted anymore.

Regards
