Intel 665 SSD

So today I was looking through my PC quote and noticed that the "1 TB Intel 665P M.2 NVMe PCle" has gone from the options to buy!? I cannot find it anywhere and was wondering if this is standard/common or if this is a problem?

Many thanks

There's many reasons this could happen. The most likely is that it's a discontinued product. I'd also recommend staying away from the Intel drives. The PCS ones are a great bargain or for a larger budget the Samsung ones are a good choice.

I think that is a newly released drive, so not much is known about it
Again, thank you for the fast replies.

From the reviews and guidance from you I have decide to stay with the Corsair 1TB SSD.

Thank you all for your help it is much appreciated!

They must be a new addition, as I didn't spot them whilst waiting for my 'all Corsair' build between October & December.

Not that they're better than the 980 Pro of course (even when compared to the MP600 I saw at the time), but I think the MP400 are a good price (i.e. £50 less for the 1TB) for similar performance to the 970 Evo Plus...and probably great if you want big & fast!

I do not have experience of that drive but it is only the Intel that are poor. The best is the Samsung but quite pricey as well.
While I agree Samsung is good, I wouldn't call them best. They're fast and pricey while Seagate (Firecuda) slower, but more reliable and more affordable... I don't know much about Corsair M.2, apart that Intel aren't good at all. It really depends what you call best.

I think they went on yesterday as someone mentioned them in a thread on the server forum
