I'm upgrading and i need some advice

Hello, i haven't been on here in a while but all is going very well with my Pc :)

Basically i'm thinking of upgrading my rig from 4GB ram to 16GB ram running at the same speed which is 1600mhz. DDR3 of course =p Here is a link to the ram i'm going to order: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CMZ...ZKLQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1308602980&sr=8-1

I dusted out my computer today and i have enough ram slots so no problem there but i was wondering if upgrading to 16GB would be ok for my system. I have a 1055T II x6 phenom 2.8GHZ processor and a GTX 460 2GB graphics card and i believe the PSU is 650W. The motherboard is an Asus M4A87TD.

So my question is, If i upgrade to 16GB ram does that bring with it other required upgrades like a higher voltage PSU or a more advanced processor etc.

The upgrade is because of the upcoming Skyrim and also because it makes it future proof for a good couple of years if not more so. Thank you for taking the time to read this and any help is much appreciated.

Why waste money, you'll never use 16GB of ram, unless your into video editing or something like that.
As jayjay said 8GB will be more than enough.

Thanks for the replies guys and thanks for saving me a bundle of money aswell. 16GB was over the top looking at it so i will settle with 8GB. I thought that 8GB would only be good for another year or so but a couple of years is good by me. Thanks again.
