Hi there, this looks like a good build. However there are some issues. 16 GB of Ram for gaming alone is overkill, I would recommend 8GB. When you say "will this cause probs if 1 day i want to upgrade?" I assume you mean getting another Graphics card to run in CrossFire. In answer to you question, yes, 650W will not be sufficient as running the AMD Radeon HD6970 in CrossFire requires 596 Watts under load and 132 Watts at idle. I would strongly recommend getting a better GPU. I would imagine that the touchscreen monitor will require drivers.

Thanks buddy, I will having read other threads that 16gb ram will be too much, this I will now change thanks, when you say drivers for touchscreen I assume this will be simple to do once I turn the machine on.
Please excuse the fact im playing ingnorant here but im new to this.and any recommendations on a better GPU?

That's fine. I think PCS will install all necessary drivers, however if they don't I assume it will be very easy to install them, if they are needed. I am not too familiar with touch screen monitors, so maybe it would be an idea to contact PCS. In terms of the GPU I would recommend getting the 850 watt TX series. Its should be more than enough.

Again thanks, so you think its ok to order a 850 tx series as pcs suggestion is 650w in the quote section. obviously its thinking of the future so for input i thank you greatly. i think upon browsing the windows forum that the iiyama touchscreen is compatible with windows 7 so i think it should be fine as they say its a straight install. im only really using this for games like shogun 2 etc and for photo editing really, i gave a budget of 14 hundred inclusive of monitor and in your opinion is this is a good enough set up?

Yes, it should run most games on 'High' settings, it looks like a good build. As I said the better power supply is a good idea if you are planning on getting another 6970.

Drop to 8gb RAM and then tpget th gtx 580 also by your parts I'm assumin you are over clocking? I recommend buying one pre over clocked they are only a small amount more

no bud just for gaming, have already dropped to 8gb RAM I believe this unit will be more than capable of running top games on full setting's for the next couple of years. feel free to comment if you feel its not, all ideas welcome. not overclocking not inteligent enough lol.

If you're not overclocking drop down to the i7-2600 CPU (the 'k' variants are basically the same but set up for much easier overclocking), and you could easily drop the RAM down to the Samsung 1333, cos without overclocking you wont notice the difference anyway :)

Also unless you're doing a lot of music production type stuff or have a really good ear for sound, the onboard sound card should be perfectly good enough

I knocked off the sound card on my build as the guys told me that id have difficulty telling the difference between the onboard one. Just as heads up one or two parts are awaiting delivery the case and 1.5 HD being two of them. I only know as i tried to fast track mine today and was told these parts are Awaiting Delivery. No need to change just for reference.

go with the GTX 570 instead? Your card as of now and the one I'm getting are similar, except the GTX 570 is a little bit better! I.E performes better in benchmarks, higher fps in games, quieter, less wattage consumption, lower temps, ect. Your choice though buddy!

And the 'K' variant means it's ready for overclocking, and seeing as you said you won't be doing any, get the i7 2600. the processors perform exactly the same, except the i7 2600k can be overclocked to higher extent more easily. hope this helped.

I would say that the 6970 could handle most, if not all (excluding a few) games on max settings! that graphics card with deal comfortably with nearly every game on max settings.
