I7-970 + 12Gb Kingston 1600MHz RAM + 1Gb nVidia 560 Ti

Has anyone ordered a spec similare to this and put it through some serious video editing / compositing paces? I'll be cutting on Avid Media Composer v5 and compositing on After Effects CS5.

Any pointers as to areas that it may fall down would be lovely, although for the spec and money I would hope it will go like a greased otter.

I have a i7 970 with 6GB ram only been gaming but no matter what i do the CPU has not got above around 60% so i can't see you having any problems with that, what is your budget and the full spec of what you have so far you might get some better suggestions.
