yes you could overclock it your self, but then you would lose your warranty, if you let PCS do it, it's not alot more money and will still be under warranty

how would they even find out ? you would only be returning the failed component via RMA , not the complete system anyway :)

You do not automatically lose your warranty if you overclock your CPU.
You lose it if your overclocking attempts are the cause of the breakage/failure

But yes, PCS will overclock it for you if you want, you need to use the Overclocked PC's configurator to build it, it'll force you to have relevant cooling and gives you the choice to use better thermal paste on your CPU.

Thanks , I missed that bit out about the "Overclocked PC's configurator" , I shall edit my OP with updated info , and thanks Len for the additional info :0)

id probably get a case with better cooling, such as the Sniper or HAF-X, both have really good cooling, just choose whichever you prefer

otherwise, that 590 will get extremely toasty

or at least get something with a side fan, they are the most important thing to have with latest graphics cards

oc i2600k GTX590 AND OCZ SSD asking for trouble. i had this system and was rma the same day.

i would go for normal i2600 gtx 580 3gb one and intel ssd

hmmm , checking OCZ support forums and there are loads of people with BSOD's and other problems related to SSD :/ , maybe intel is the way to go , but i want to stick with i7-2600k tho

this guy joking its like £3255

Although I cover never justify spending so much on a machine myself, many do, so just because it is very hefty don't always assume its a joke :)

I've seen other specs in these forums that have been heftier.

It is no joke , but i am currently re-evaluating my choices of....
1) Monitor(s) : ghosting issues , I may even go for 27" Dell Ultrasharp instead of triple setup
2) SSD : OCZ just seems to be a complete nightmare of problems if you check their forums
3) Ram : 8GB instead of 16GB
