i7-12700KF - ROG STRIX RTX 3080

The beast has finally arrived! Few highlights so far:

- GPU is very very silent & super low temps (round 67C), even at high loads, some light coil whine only - so I am glad I spent extra $ on the ROG GPU (or maybe I am just trying to justify the extra - perhaps not necessary - cost )
- CPU also very cool, never went over 50C when gaming and the H150i is also super quiet for now
- The case is sooo heavy, but also beautiful
- PCS added the extra fan as an exhaust 💘

Overall, very satisfied as usual with PCS build and services (15 working days delivery - 3 days from build to receiving it at home!). I'll keep doing some testing and maybe post a follow up later down the line.

I am now on the hunt for a good 4k 144hz monitor (preferably 32" - which seem really hard to find) - as I currently "only" have a 4h 60hz monitor, which I feel isn't giving justice to this build. So any suggestions on this front, keen to hear your opinions!

Any other advice or questions let me know

Lovely build mate, I'm sure plenty here can recommend monitors for you. Personally I like the Samsung G9 for the 3080 but I know the price is incredible

I like this as an alternative though

I would probably remove the fan at the rear to be honest. It will actually be creating a vacuum in the system and drawing dust in when under low-load. You want to be either neutral or a very slight vacuum only during heavy load, during normal use you want a positive pressure in the case to expel dust.

That aside though, it looks absolutely stunning and it's a beastly build

I have the Gigabyte M32U and it's a very solid monitor for the money.

You have only two panel choices right now. The Innolux panel , which the M32U, Aorus FI32U and AOC Agon Pro AG324UX use. Or the AU Optronics panel, which the Asus Rog PG32UQ, ViewSonic XG320U and MSI Optix MPG321UR-QD use. The Innolux panel offers better response times; the AU Optronics panel is slower but has a wider colour gamut. With both panels only offering very limited local dimming, the HDR capabilities of both are irrelevant.

I'd say the M32U is the pick of the Innolux panels, mainly on cost since it's been down at £675-700 a few times on Overclockers, Scan etc. It also provides some USB-C functionality, KVM etc.

Of the AU Optronics panels, it's the MSI Optix MPG321UR-QD being cheaper than the ViewSonic and having better functionality than the Asus for around the same price of £850. Problem: it's really hard to find stock in the UK.

Thank you all for the suggestions! I've looked into monitors and as you've all said there aren't a lot of choices if we restrict to the 32" segment.

@DarTon thanks a lot for the info. I've looked into the MSI Optix MPG321UR-QD before for the wider colour gamut ( I do some lightroom work as a hobby, so it would have been a nice to have) but I am having such a hard time find any stock at all in the UK for this - so hard I haven't actually found it anywhere.

So I am leaning towards the M32U - have you found any notable issues with it?

Nothing major with the M32U. It needed a firmware update but it's been solid since then. The Gigabyte OSD-Sidekick software is a bit janky but you don't have to use it.

I'd have probably preferred the MSI Optix MPG321UR-QD but it just wasn't available and I don't need the wider colour gamut. If you are a serious creator type then I'd say the M32U is probably not quite as good as needed but for general office type use and gaming I find it great.

I'd characterize the M32U as basically a professional 32" 4K office monitor (rather than a consumer 4K monitor). So like a BenQ P3200U or Dell P3222QE (typically being sold for say £600) with the added functionality of a 144Hz refresh rate. For an extra £100 that is decent value.

Thank you @DarTon I've seen there are a few ViewSonic XG320U as well, although the price point is quite high ( round 1.000£) so not sure, still leaning towards the M32U but will take some time to decide.
