I've gone for this based on advice and hopefully i'll be able to play Skyrim and add mods without it overheating or being slow. Does this decent for what I want?

You could stick to your original thread to get better feedback. The case you selected is not suitable for a gaming pc and it is likely to overheat. Assuming your budget is the same I would consider a completely different system

I would agree with keynes, I'd personally build a totally different system. Aside from the fact it would probably overheat, there's the fact you've chosen a poor performing SSD (like seriously poor, not just a little slower).

What would you recommend based on an £800 budget. I can still make changes I hope

The changes I would suggest involves a different set up hat requires you to cancel the order and place it again. I5-4590, gtx 970, caviar black hard drive

Cheers Keynes - I'm happy to cancel the order and re-do it with something which will more suit my needs - About £750 - £800 budget for a gaming rig which will stay cool but will be pretty quick. I'll cancel my current order

Ok - I've cancelled the order and I'm completely lost on what to do now. I'm massively out of touch. Ok my needs = Gaming, something quick, cool and upgradable?
Is a micro ATX motherboard to ok to upgrade at some point with extra RAM? Do they differ much or can i get away with a cheaper one?
I have another hard drive from my old computer (1 year old) which i'd like to use as a slave for extra storage but will need to remove windows 7 off it. Can I still do this??
My budget is 750 - 800
I've always been told that an SSD is the way forward but you suggest a regular SATA (or seem regular)
AMD or Intel???

All recommendations welcome and advice is well received

Ok - After advice - I went for it again - an £800 budget and it came in at £813. I really do hope this is going to be good for gaming, not overheat to much, reasonably quiet and I do have some questions.
1, Can i put my old 500gb hard-drive in it and use it as storage? Is wiping the windows 7 OS easy enough?
2, Is this upgradable but more importantly will it have a bit of longevity???
3, With SSD being the thing everyone is raving about? Why was the SATA recomended to me?
4, Can I also add my old DVD re-writer in as well?

Case - InWIN GT1 BLACK GAMING CASE
Processor (CPU) - Intel® Core™i5 Quad Core Processor i5-4590 (3.3GHz) 6MB Cache
Motherboard - ASUS® H81M-PLUS: Micro-ATX, LG1150, USB 3.0, SATA 6GBs
Memory (RAM) - 8GB KINGSTON DUAL-DDR3 1600MHz (1 x 8GB)
Graphics Card - 4GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 970 - 1 DVI, 1 mHDMI, 3 mDP - 3D Vision Ready

1) yes
2) the psu will limit a gpu upgrade. I would go with a 550w or 650w psu.
3) not sure what you mean by sata
4) yes

For your budget, you wouldn't be able to include an SSD without sacrificing stuff like the GPU which is far more important. You can add an SSD at any time when you have the cash for not very much money, whereas a gpu upgrade will cost £300 or so, that's why an HDD was recommended over an SSD.

Thanks everyone

So if i do upgrade i'll need more power? But i'll still be able to add RAM.

What about my old SATA hard drive - can I put that in and use it as an extra partition when I clear the OS?

Ssd is great if you can afford it (ie. It doesn't take budget away from more important things like a gpu which in your case it would have done). Nice build.

I've got a 680m in a laptop that is playing far cry 4 on high at 60fps. A 970 s4its all over a 680m. You'll be gaming on this for a long time.

Upgradeability... Might be fine to put a 980 in it at some point but the psu means you won't be able to sli.
