I need a new headset

As the title suggests, I'm in need of a new headset.

Main use will be gaming, but also for watching TV, films, YouTube etc. I don't have a huge preference either way between wired and wireless, but if a gun was held to my head I'd go for wireless.

I'd also like them to look clean. No bright colours please with a preference for black.

Budget is £150.

I have done a bit of research and the Hyper X Cloud III's keep being mentioned, but keen to hear other views.

Excellent, I'm familiar with these as well - they've been mentioned in articles I've read. Visually they're everything I'm looking for.

They shoot well above their price point.

I've got the older Arctis Pro 7, these are basically the same but with better sound isolation and spatial stereo, and the big thing is the neodymium magnets, that's the key, they're so strong that they control the movement of the driver far tighter.

But I've had my Arctis Pro 7's for 3 years or so now, use them every day overnight and the batteries are still strong as hell, hardly any degredation, plus the headstrap is really comfortable, doesn't get hot as it's barely making contact with your head.

I also really like the fact the mic arm retreats into the headphone so can be invisible when not in use, very handy.
