PC Spec received a shipment of 3930k C 2 chips today which I believe was the last component they were waiting for before my build could start , anyone know what the practical improvements of this second gen chip will provide if any?

The only thing it fixed was the chips ability to run virtualisation software which most people won't use anyway.

You might be able get away with using slightly lower voltage for certain frequencies but I doubt that you'll be able to take it much further on a normal air/watercooler.

Nice, mine entered 'In building' yesterday too! =D

Regarding what to play first, I bought The Witcher 2 and BF3.. But other than that I don't know what's good! Maybe some Starcraft II?

Thanks , I might give Starcraft a go as I have heard good things

It's definitely worth a go, if you don't mind dealing with obnoxious 15 year olds attacking your base early in the game then being unpleasant when you lose to them =P

But the singleplayer alone's worth the money IMO.
