I bought my pc from curry’s pc world but I’m wondering if I could get an upgrade from pc specialist

@Kevbob45 Please note, all the advice given here so far is to allow you to use PCS's upgrade service - if you wish to install a new GPU yourself (without any input from PCS), you are free to do so (at your own risk). From your posts, I didn't think this was your intention so didn't mention it earlier.

But if you do the research, you can determine whether you can upgrade your GPU yourself and if its marginal, take the punt and go for it. But as said, its at your own risk.

You need to provide proof that you bought the PC new from Currys and that it's not been stolen and re-sold. You have to contact PCS and provide proof of purchase (your original receipt should do) and then PCS will recognise you as the legal owner of the PC. Until you've done that PCS will not support you.
This might seem very sus but I do not have a receipt, I think I put it in the bin. If there is any other way of showing them proof it would be appreciated.

I'd phone PCS and discuss directly with them, no one here will know for certain what evidence they require if you don't have the receipt/invoice.

Assume you bought it using a card, then it will show on your statement

I was contemplating that earlier....trouble is you can only prove you spent x amount at Currys, not that you bought a PCS system from there....for all PCS would know, you bought a television at Currys and the PC was bought off the street having been stolen from somewhere (obviously not saying that has happened here but that could be how PCS view it without a receipt)
Yeah, but it may also be helpful to get a copy receipt from Curry's

Another thought did the OP order it click & collect, in which case they would have an email receipt
