HP EliteDesk won't turn on unless I unplug it first

I recently purchased an HP EliteDesk 800 G4 from Micro Center. Unfortunately, I purchased it as a refurbished, so the full warranty isn't included. I initially had some power issues. It would randomly shut off. Really seemed like an overheat issue because once it started happening it would just keep doing it until I let the PC sit for a while. Micro Center said it was a malware issue and wanted more than the cost of the PC to fix it. I wiped the computer and did a fresh install. Now I have Windows 11 installed on it. Recently it has started to not turn on after sitting for a while. I found the only way to turn it on is to unplug it. After plugging it back in I have to press and hold the power button. I've already replaced the AC adapter with a new HP adapter, so I'm pretty sure that isn't it. Does anyone have any ideas for me?
