How to use F2 to go to BIOS (on Vortex IV)?

Hi,
I just received a new laptop and have been advised by PCS via email, to bring up the bios by pressing F2 during reboot. This doesn't appear to work - can anyone advise what I'm doing wrong?

During reboot I've pressed F2 once - didn't work (went to login screen). Tried again, pressing F2 every 1 second - still no joy. Should I be pressing another key at the same time. The system is booting from SSD if that makes a difference.
(the base issue for which PCS is helping, is that "SecureBoot isn't configured correctly")

Any advice appreciated.

This is a common problem with most laptops, the BIOS doesn't scan the keyboard all the time during boot so you have to kind of time your keypress with the keyboard scan. Holding F2 down all the time is generally the best and most reliable way. :)
