How to manually control fans speeds of GPU?

Hi,
How do you manually control the fan speed of a graphics card?
Just wanted to know because the weather it getting a bit hot at the moment.

You can use evga precision x to manually change the fan curve and fan speeds of your graphics card.
Don't be silly and set it too low though.

Afterburner is good too although I still prefer evga precision.
