Apparently this has been possible for years, first I've heard of it through twitter.

Sounds like an upside to meThe downside (if you can call it that) is that you won't be able to load the Windows Store until you go into Settings/Time & Language/Language & Region and change the Country or region from World to <wherever you live>
I remember a 'hack' in some older versions of Windows and MacOS that did that upside down trick...and it invariably ended up on machines belonging to colleagues returning from holiday
Not even done it yet. I'll need to get in before they make the changeI read recently that Microsoft are aware of this and are expected to take steps to close this 'loophole'. Presumably Microsoft are well paid by vendors to install this bloatware, so they want to be sure it gets installed.
