how to back up my pc ?

hi there just a question i hope you can help with , i had my pc about 7 months now and was thinking if something went wrong i would lose everything as i have no back up in place, Is this an easy thing to do and if so would it mean i could back up everything so if i needed to do a fresh install of windows sometime, then i would not have to reinstall everything from scratch that i had on pc ?. and is there a guide to explain how to back up my pc , i have an ssd with windows on and a couple of games and a seecond hard drive with everything else on, if that makes any difference. Thank you

I can recommend windows 7 own backup program,to do a system image backup you will need either a second hard drive or an external hard drive,
in control panel click on "backup and restore" then "create a system image.
I've used it twice on two new hard drive replacements with no problems.
