its been 7 working days, and its still in pre production. I just want to know how busy it is and how long i might have to wait.

The average is up over 25 working days so you're probably looking to end of July at the moment. No-one can really say accurately however as there's not a lot of info coming from PCS.

Well, the current estimated lead time (ie time from order to system building) is 18-20 working days. Could be sooner if you are lucky or could be longer if stock issues develop in the meantime

The web estimates are not being used, the system can’t handle with the current situation and isn’t very accurate.

PCS will be sending out weekly updates to let you know estimations, but it’s roughly 25 working days atm.

It's slightly embarassing to admit that I did actually know they had changed it...and I had simply forgotten As soon as I read your initial reply, I was like "oh yeah, totally forgot that". I really need to start writing things down!

I've still not received an update on mine so I don't believe we can rely on the weekly updates. Last I heard was the generic COVID-19 update as to expect some extended time frames. Assume I must be way down the list for some reason although supposed to be on WD 12.

I understand they are send these email updates manually so it might take some time to get to everyone.
