How is this for a photoshop/cinema4d/sony vegas/casual gamer?

Hey, I am about to buy a build in the next few days and was wondering if my specs would suit my needs; I want to be able to make 3D images and render them very quickly, render videos to 1080p in a short amount of time(hopefully realtime) use PhotoShop and fraps at the same time and do some Casual gaming(MineCraft, Dirt, Microsoft Flight Sim, Battlefield 3) My budget is £800 (No higher)

  1. Intel® Core™i7 Quad Core Processor i7-3770K (3.5GHz) 8MB Cache
  2. ASUS® P8Z77-M: MICRO-ATX, USB 3.0, SATA 6GBs, ATI®CrossFireX
  3. 8GB SAMSUNG DUAL-DDR3 1333MHz (2 X 4GB)
  4. 1GB AMD RADEON™ HD7770 - DVI,HDMI,2 mDP - DX® 11, Eyefinity 4 Capable
  5. 1TB 3.5" SATA-III 6GB/s HDD 7200RPM 32MB CACHE
  6. 24x DUAL LAYER DVD WRITER ±R/±RW/RAM
  7. INTERNAL 52 IN 1 CARD READER (XD, MS, CF, SD, etc) + 1 x USB 2.0 PORT
  8. 450W Quiet 80 PLUS Dual Rail PSU + 120mm Case Fan (£29)
  9. TITAN FENRIR EVO EXTREME HEATPIPE CPU COOLER (£39)
  10. InWIN BLACK DRAGON RIDER GAMING CASE

£788 including Postage and VAT, I am happy with these specs and from reviews have heard that all the items are very good. I would like to know if my PSU is powerful enough and same with the fan(CPU Fan).. Also I would like to know if the specs are good enough for what I require.

-Many Thanks
Ben Wilkinson

Unless your clocking the CPU I would drop the K version of the CPU, and choose the quiet CPU cooler. Also I would up the RAM to 16Gb, and choose the faster caviar black hard drive.

If your able to, I would upgrade the motherboard to the P8Z77-V and if that's out of your budget get the P8Z77-LX

The 7770 will just about play bf3 but will struggle with crysis 2 but is ok for most other games like dirt 3 and skyrim.

I'd recommend a caviar black rather than the standard HDD. You could also downgrade the motherboard to the V-LX, still you can crossfire (however the PSU is not powerful enough for that).

Right, I have changed the PSU to 600w because I plan to crossfire in the future, I have changed the HDD to caviar black and downgraded to the V-LX. How is that now?

You can easily add a 2nd hd 7770 if needed with the new PSU

The HD 6870 is a more powerful card but consumes more power, if you are happy with the HD 7770 just stick to that one.

So I can crossfire a 6850 and a 7770? If I wanted to like early next year :')

You can have add a 2nd 7770 with the power supply you have or you can have 2 x HD 6870 but for the HD 6870 in crossfire you may need a better psu (650w)

Well, I am highly looking forward to getting this PC. Thanks for your help, I am not going to order it yet because I am going to make sure it is definitely what I want. :')

No problem. Best thing is to do more research and once you are happy with the spec just order it , good luck :)

I was just looking at the motherboard online and where would the 2nd GFX card go? There is only one PCI-E x16
