How easy is it to install a SSD in the future??

So I decided not to go for a SSD but now I'm having second thoughts.... should I have got one? I don't really have the spare £100 on top of what I've spent... but wondering whether it would be relatively easy to install a SSD as my primary drive in a year or so's time... would I just need to format then reinstall windows and all the drivers on the SSD?

You would also probably need to reinstall anything that has registry entries (that will be a lot of program installations, not everything, but quite a lot of it).

You can get an SSD for less than £100 (120 GB), installation is very easy. I am sure that once you are ready many forum members would be able to help you. I managed to install one just by reading the instructions that came with mine.

You would need to re-install windows and all the bits, yes, but SSD is sooooo worth it. Putting it in and loading it up is not too difficult - people here will help, + there's lots of tutorials etc on youtube and other parts on the web, detailing the process.

If your going to install the OS on the SSD it would mean either a clean install or using something like Paragon Migrate OS to SSD,some SSD's come supplied with transfer software

you can get a top of the range 60GB ssd for about 60quid! that's what I'd do.

Also 60gb is plenty for the OS.
