Hi Guys,
Looking to build a high spec multi purpose rig mainly used for music production and gaming but not sure about some of the components (psu, cooling, case, motherboard)
Here's my chosen spec so far,(the quieter it runs the better)I wont be overclocking it.
Any comments, suggestions would be much appreciated.cheers

Looks good, for music production you will also really need at least an ASIO compatible dedicated sound card or an Audio Interface,or maybe you already have one.
Might be worth upgrading the motherboard a notch to the P8Z77-V LX.
Main difference is the amount of available Expansion (PCI) Slots, which you may need if you do want to add a sound card or another HDD in future, and the price of the P8Z77-V LX is much the same as the P8Z77-M (Micro)
ASUS® P8Z77-M
1 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16
1 x PCIe 2.0 x16 (x4 mode, black)
1 x PCIe 2.0 x1
1 x PCI
ASUS® P8Z77-V LX
1 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (blue)
1 x PCIe 2.0 x16 (x4 mode, black)
2 x PCIe 2.0 x1
3 x PCI
music recording/production can be quite CPU intensive,RAM is also important, the more the better of course, hard drive speed and plenty of space would also be a factor, but you have all that covered.

Thanks for the info on the motherboard,I have 2 internal RME pci e audio cards that will use up a couple of slots.
