Hi guys, please see specs below. I want to get 2x 2TB HDDs and have them in RAID 0, but the site warns me that due to a limitation in Windows you can't have more than 2x 1TB in RAID 0.... I've definitely seen much larger RAIDs than 2TB... any ideas?

Why RAID 0? AFAIK you'll not see any benefit in gaming, nor I suspect in media editing.

Thanks for the reply. I occasionally have to edit multi cam sequences, sometimes with 4K footage where it’s reading 3 videos simultaneously and at 4K I was going for the faster read times of RAID0. Gaming I wasn’t too bothered about because I could move the game I’m currently playing to the SSD.

More importantly - have you any idea why the configurator throws a caution with RAID of more than 2TB total? It’s not one of the ones where it won’t let you proceed, it’s like an advisory where you can still go ahead without changing anything even though the words tell you to remove RAID or lower the drive capacities

If you're getting RAID because you need faster performance - don't. Get an SSD instead and use that for source files with HDDs for archiving.
This may be of interest: https://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/Adobe-Premiere-Pro-CC-2015-4-Storage-Optimization-854/

(and if you're getting RAID as a backup strategy, don't, use versioned backups to cloud / network storage instead)

For video editing, you'll probably want 32gb RAM.

And for video rendering, the i9 probably makes sense.

The Strix 2080 doesn't make sense. It's almost £200 more expensive than the 'regular' 2080. It's only ~£140 less than an RTX 2080 ti. It's what's known as a rip-off.
Either save yourself £200 (or economise £200 to reinvest in the build as above) or just spend an extra £140 to convert that ~£200 premium into something that actually benefits you.

Is the 4k monitor for gaming?

If so, drop it and get a 4k one with Gsync.

Get the H100x or H115i coolers instead of the more mid-range Cooler Master coolers.

Drop the extra fans. The case and the AIO CPU coolers already sport a lot of fans put together.
