I'm looking at getting a high end gaming PC to replace a 5 year old laptop for games like Baldur's Gate 3, Elder Scrolls Online, Civilization 6 (and 7 when I get a PC that can run it) and Valheim. I posted early in January and was advised to wait and I'm glad I did, this came out cheaper and I think better that what I chose then.
I want a system capable of playing any of the latest games on high settings with good performance, and will last a long time (6-8 years ideally), with upgrades to RAM or the graphics card if necessary. I've gone for a larger power unit that the 850W recommended in an attempt to futureproof it. Max budget is £3,500. I've already got a MSI Optiix MAG274QRX (27", 2K, 240Hz) monitor for gaming, probably going to get a second monitor for discord etc. What do you guys think of this build?
