Stumbled onto PCS a year or so ago and always meant to purchase a PC through them but have only just got round to it.

Very excited about my first brand new PC which will be used for gaming, student work and some low level editing and the like. Also looking for some future proofing.

Will be putting my previous hard drive in with the new one.

Any thoughts welcome.

Hello and welcome.

Initial thoughts would be drop the k cpu if not overclocking, also the ram to 1333 i would think.

If anything is lacking for gaming maybe up the GPU a little if budget allows.

Thanks for the input. Potentially may overclock in the future, it was more for convenience and for the sake of a tenner or so to go down to the 2500 and the slower RAM wasn't that big a deal.

Can you recommend a better graphics card? I don't really want to spend more than another £30-40 or so.

Cheers
