Help with my CPU Cooler

Hey, so long story short, once upon a time I bought a PC from PCS. Now, that machine has gone through change after change, but right now I need to reassemble the old 'super quiet 22db CPU cooler', or whatever it's called! Only problem is, I can't work out how... I have the heatsink, the gray / black frame that surrounds the motherboard, and a silver metal thingy with some sort of handle Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Oh, and I'm trying to install in on an AM3 socket.

Have you taken it off at some point and installed one of your own, or is this the result of an accident or something?

Have you tried looking at youtube videos giving you details on how to install a CPU cooler? You might struggle to find the exact same model as yours but you can get the idea as they are all pretty similar.

You will probably need to get your hands on some new thermal grease to get a proper contact between the heatsink and the CPU if you don't already have some.
