Help with laptop freezing up

Optimus V 13"

Bought 6 months ago, the laptop has started freezing up recently, requiring a manual shutdown. Any ideas?

Right click on your main HDD and select properties - disk cleanup. Let it look for anything that can free up space.
If your laptop is using only a HDD then defrag it. (Don't do this if you have an ssd)
Also, get speccy and check your temps. The laptop may need a good clean.

Heat is fine when it freezes. Disk cleanup/defrag ran. Not fixed. :/

What are the symptoms of the freeze? What programs running, any pixellation, bsods?
