Help with decision please

Got my 3060ti computer being dispatched next week and trying to decide on a monitor. Narrowed it down to the Samsung G5 and the ASUS TUF VG28AQ1A? What would those with experience recommended, obviously one curved screen and other flat. Any advice appreciated.

I'd strongly recommend the Asus. It has much better performance (in terms of response times) being an IPS display. You can, I think, get it for £299, which is an excellent price.

The curve is most important for VA panels, because they have worse viewing angles: with an IPS display, the viewing angles are much better, so the curve isn't needed.

I'm sure the Samsung is fine, but the Asus really is a lot better.
