Help me chose a new graphics card

Hii im looking to upgrade my graphics card a little, nothing crazy fancy but maybe a little better than i have now, i play games like overwatch, marvel rivals etc but also really enjoy scenic games like elder scrolls online, hogwarts legacy etc. Im not very techy and had my pc prebuilt so im unsure of what would match my specs, could anyone recommend me a graphics card around the £300- £500 options if possible as thats my budget

tbh a lot of games feel like they struggle for fps, im only hitting 30 in most and i just would like for my games to play better in general

The 7800XT would fit the budget for 1440p, it’s about your only option, but you’d need to upgrade the PSU in all likelihood also which would be another £120 or so on top

The 6700xt is a 1080p card nowadays so no surprise it’s struggling with that monitor

No matter what GPU you have, don’t make the mistake of just setting max graphics, that’s not how pc gaming works, you optimise graphics settings per game for best performance as there are loads of settings that can be reduced barely affecting visual fidelity but hugely increasing performance.

If you google GameName Optimised settings you’ll get various recommendations for best settings for either sheer performance up to best fidelity
