[Help] Laptop charger making ticking noise

Hello!

My laptop charger is making a ticking noise when plugged into the laptop, coming from both the transformer and the port. The charging light on the laptop is only turning on during each tick, and the laptop itself won't turn on (possibly just out of power).
I have replaced the laptop charger but this has not resolved the problem.

Is anyone able to help?

I'd contact PCS directly, sounds like there's a connection issue on the motherboard.

Does it run with the battery out and the charger in?
