My spec in brief, ordered with PC Specialist about a month back
Intel I7 2600k not o/c
AMD HD series 6970 graphics card
8gb Kingston Hyper
P67 Sabertooth motherboard
650w Corsair
Now the initial problem I have is (and getting worse) whilst in a game for about 10 minutes the screen goes blank, the computer becomes unresponsive (ctrl, alt, del fails), the sound just freezes.
A few things to note is I had a display problem when I got this computer which was solved as I was advised to uninstall the ati catalyst from my computer and reinstall it, which is fully updated and working fine. (so it states)
these games had no installation issues and have worked fine before.
I will be testing my latest games tonight and post my results but please can you help I work the hours you guys are open to remote access and my only time to contact you is Saturday.
I do not believe this to be my monitor as this is also new from PC specialist Iiyama prolite touchscreen T2250MTS. it could be a simple driver issue, all ideas welcome.
I hope this is not a power supply faliure or anything else thats failing as it cost me a bomb and only 3 weeks old.
second is I have only so far had this problem with games released around 2005.
