Headphones Detected But No Sound

Hi all,

Lately I've had an issue with my laptop where all of my headphones are detected by Realtek, but the sound doesn't come through them.

I updated my Windows 10 last night and everything seemed okay after restarting my laptop and it worked earlier today too, but the problem re-appeared again and I don't know what's causing it or how to fix it.

I've tried in-ear headphones, overhead headphones, and Turtle Beach PX22 headphones and the problem remains the same.

None of the above appear in the Playback section of Sound, so I don't know how else to fix it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Spyder tracks seems to know a lot about this sort of thing, i'm sure he'll know what the problem is. It does sound like a driver issue but i'm no expert. Luckily for me mine work fine, but i'm running windows 7. Hope you get it sorted.

I've had something similar. Headphones are not detected after the laptop wakes from sleep. If I do a reboot, it works though. I'm using a Defiance 15.6"
Has anyone figured how to fix this yet?
