hardware drivers

Hello everyone

I was hoping someone could tell me if pcspecialist updates hardware for you before shipping it out... im getting lots of hardware related BSOD (0x00000124) and am trying to find ways of fixing it so updating drivers was on my list of things to do.

also, if i want to reformat my PC windows 7 - will i need to reinstall any drivers? I have never formated before. (and 2nd question, can clean OS installs sometimes fix the hardware related BSOD problems?)

lastly.. will any of the things ive mentioned void warranty?

pcspecialist updates are pretty well up to date,but updating drivers yourself Is good practice.
clean Install will usually fix almost all problems,but not A hardware problem .
If you do clean Install you will almost certainly have to Install drivers.
Nothing you have mentioned will void warranty.
As for the bsod,have a look In event viewer,might give you a clue or better still,phone tech support.

ooh wait not sure if i read somewhere on the forums that reformatting might reset the overclock you have (sorry if this is wrong but i have read that much stuff on here my mind is numb)

Yeah i called the tech support earlier today, was told to run memtest/cpu test etc... instant BSOD after the CPU test. So then i was told to remove the overclock. I did that and i got the same BSOD. So now ive been told that they will have to collect it monday and have it back to me within 6-8 working days which kinda sucks...

I would have thought the BSOD would have been picked up in testing and QC but maybe the delivery guy was rough with the pc :S

I stayed away from the overclocking just incase with my luck cause it was more to go wrong, my last PC went back 3 times in the first year (not from here).

I had 1 BSOD myself on my PCS rig the first night while installing assassins creed 2 (yes a change of underwear was required and some foul words were expelled) anyway uninstalled/reinstalled it and it worked second time so my fingers crossed that was my only teething problem anyway i am sure it will be back with you in no time and you will be so happy with it you will forget all about it.
