Hard Drive space not showing full capacity

hi there,

My PC has 2 drives:

120 gb Vertex III SSD
1 tb caviar green

however they show as

Vertex - 111gb
Caviar - 931gb

where has the rest gotten to????

that is perfectly normal. Loads of threads on the forum explaining it. Its all to do with the hdd manufacturers using 1000 and microsoft using 1024.
