GTA V First Person, first time coming from PS

Oh my what a complete transformation it is playing this game on the PC. It's absolutely night and day, I honestly can't believe how much better it is. The first person view is just epic, my jaw dropped during the first driving scene.

Has it always been available in first person or is this an update?

First person on GTA V has been available on PC since it's release on the platform. I believe on consoles it was released even before that.

I definitely couldn't do it on the PS3 when I had it. From what I've seen it was an update on the consoles. It's epic regardless. Night and day coming from a PS3, I haven't played it on my PS4 so I can't compare to that.
