graphics card upgrade

my current graphics card is 1GB ATI RADEON™ HD5670 - DVI,HDMI,VGA - DirectX® 11,poor i know but i only play fm11 at the moment so it is adequate.i want to upgrade in the next 2/3 months can anyone tell me what i should be looking for.
my pc is....
AMD PHENOM II X6 1100T (3.30GHz/9MB CACHE/AM3) - BLACK EDITION
ASUS® CROSSHAIR IV EXTREME: DDR3, USB 3.0, SATA 6.0Gb/s, R.O GAMERS
600W Quiet 80 PLUS Quad Rail PSU + 120mm Case Fan .
will any upgrade force me to change the psu?

Tell me what your budget is than I could suggest something, and also is it a card only for gaming?
A good starting point would be gtx460/ amd 6870

Something Like Amd 6950 would be around £250, or gtx 570 would be around £300, And something like gtx560ti would be a budget option for only around £200.
I would go for gtx 570 but amd 6950 would also be a good choice

Something to think about if your not going to be buying for a few months, AMD is planning to launch their HD7000 series graphics cards in the 2nd quarter of this year which would be worth waiting for if you don't need to upgrade any time soon.

Yeah I would wait like Phoenix said unless you really need it as ATI will be getting a new one out in a few months along with Nivida GTX 590( no comfirm date) rumor is Q1 2011

So with them being released you might see other cards drop in price so you could get better
