The GTS250 would fit into the PC no problem, it would pop into the PCI-E x 16 slot. As would the new alternatives Phoenix mentions. However, as Pringles mentions above, we'd recommend a 450W PSU for these Graphics Cards so you'd also need to swap your 350W out for a 450W.

just wondering myself aswell, dont you need to take into account any dvd drives and other stuff for power consumption?

Im assumming 450W could be ideal but 500-550w wud be better ? i hear a few problems resulting in less power supply


Thats why i went for a 600w psu leaving me space to add any additionals in future such as my own dvd drive combo or an upgrade to gpu maybe.

A lot of websites overstate the power requirements for components, and don't forget these are often peak requirements. This is often due to PSU manufacturers rating their power supplies by the peak output and not the constant output.

The GTS 250 does however require 150W of power at peak (CPU 125W, RAM 10W, mobo 50W, HDD 25W, ODD 25W) and therefore a 600W PSU would probably be recommended here, with a 450W just about covering it. Well noted.
