GPU spike and driver crash

5900x
Asus Rog strix b550 f gaming
4 X 8gb Corsair vengeance 3600MHz
Standard use fine, but when trying to play a game such as bfv or dying light I get a GPU spike and a driver crash, generic driver error message in event log, I'm going to run a memory test tonight. What's your theory?

Can you post your full spec please from your order page as its good to get the whole picture before advising on what might be the cause.

Thanks.

Can you export your System and Application logs please?

1. Enter eventvwr into the Run command box. The Event Viewer will open.

2. Expand the Windows Logs folder in the left hand pane.

3. Right-click on Application, select 'Save all entries as....', select a destination folder of your choice and call the file Application (a .evtx extension will be added automatically).

4. Right-click on System, select 'Save all entries as....', select a destination folder of your choice and call the file System (a .evtx extension will be added automatically).

5. Upload Application.evtx and System.evtx to the cloud somewhere with a link to them here.

Also check to see whether any dumps were created. If there is a kernel dump in the file C:\Windows\Memory.dmp or any minidumps in the C:\Windows\Minidumps folder upload them to the cloud with a link to them here.
