heya guys recently I have run into a weird gpu related problem. It only really occurs when play Assassins creed 4 black flag but i think its crashing my gpu it makes the monitor go all squigly or blue then just fades to black is this an issue with the game or could it be my gpu i think i fecked up installing my latest drives that could be the problem also the happens very infreqeuntly and usually it fixes it self after about a minute . But sometimes i just have to restart the whole comp any advice would much obliged.

P.S i have reseated the gpu a few times after the hard crash it seems fine fans are spinning. It reboots fine.

P.S.S I have a Ati readeon 7870 and a 650w psu

I would try a clean install/update of the graphics driver whether you have the latest driver or not.
Click on Start
Open the Control Panel
Select Programs and Features
Select AMD (ATI) Catalyst Install Manager
Click on Change
Click on Next when prompted for the Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard forAMD Catalyst Install Manager,
Select Express Uninstall All Software
Follow the on-screen directions and restart the system when finished
To verify that the graphics driver has been uninstalled, return to the Uninstall or Change a Program list and ensure that there is no AMD specific software listed
If AMD specific software is still listed, remove any remaining AMD software components using the above process and restart the system when complete.
Download latest driver from here.

If it only happens when playing Assassins creed 4 I wouldn't have thought it was a hardware issue, maybe best give PCS a call and see what they think.

When using a DVI cable you can get sound to the monitor speakers by connecting an audio cable from your sound card to the monitor, same connection on the back of the computer you would use for stand alone speakers,(line out)usually coloured green.
Normally, monitors with speakers are supplied with an audio cable.

The problem has come back with a green screen now I cant figure out why this is happening the gpu is securly in there is a new hdmi cord. The monitor isnt the issue its just a random flickering. It seems to occur after the computer has been on for several hours and slowly gets worse i have fresh installed all the drivers what is up with computer.

So I just got gpu tweak and am noticing that every few seconds my gpu spikes loads and is running louder then it ever did before. Its spiking to 92% while just running the internet or just sat idle on the desktop. I think this is the cause of my screen flicker and eventual graphical crash what should I do ?

Edit the computer screen started flickering again this time my gpu fan went to max and then i got a blue screen i am really getting scared :(
