Google Earth Pro is now free!

It's all in the title! Google Earth Pro is now free, see http://www.intotheplanet.com/google-earth-pro-is-now-free/. You have to register to get an unlock key sent to you via email but otherwise you just download and install it. I have it running alongside Google Earth (basic). I haven't actually figured out what additional benefit the Pro version gives you (apart from a grey icon instead of a blue one that is) but hey, it's free!

I don't even think you have to register, just enter your email and the key given on the 'download page'

Pretty cool though... although I'm not sure what the pro version does (that I'll use) that the free version didn't... although I essentially just like zooming in and out and don't really 'use' it for anything haha!
