My budget restricted me a bit on the hard drive as I wanted the 750GB MOMENTUS XT HYBRID, or a 120GB INTEL 330 SERIES SSD and a 500GB SATA HDD (5,400) combination, so I settled for the 750GB WD SCORPIO BLACK.
Just got an e-mail today confirming the laptop is Build- so excitement / anticipation levels are increasing !!!!!
I just received mine a few days ago, and I have to say it's pretty epic. The pictures on its page don't do it justice at all, it looks really good and it runs beautifully
second day in build... suddenly I may have a conflict with the possible delivery date due to bank holiday weekend and away from home with work for 2 days. Fingers crossed my work schedule and delivery date will not clash.
I was still a little unsure of going to a 17.3 inch screen, but my budget sort of forced the issue when the Vortex III came out, and I probably don't really need the "top of a range, all whistling and dancing killer gaming laptop" but I am sure the skyfire will fit the bill for my requirements.
To Tom6561 grtz on laptop- enjoy and cannot wait to see your review on it. Seeing you getting your model just ups the anti on mine!.
To Dangro474 and Musicguy and PSC I have to thank you all for your suggestions and help in me coming to the hard decision of placing an order.
