I don't consider myself to be a hardcore gamer (although I have beaten Dark Souls, Bloodborne and I still play FTL despite the RNG overlords ruining a perfect run at the last moment) but I have done something today I'm quite proud of.

I completed Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy.

It took twelve frustrating hours in total but good grief, what a sense of achievement. Would highly recommend anyone and everyone give it a go and I'd like to say a big thanks to @AccidentalDenz for providing me a key for the game via The Big Fat Giveaway. You're a legend, Denz.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to buy a large hammer and find Bennett Foddy so I can give him the beating of a lifetime.

That being said, his new game looks fun. Brings a whole new meaning to the gaming term 'walking simulator'

I like the look of A Difficult Game About Climbing! On the wish list it goes.

I need a break from that kind of game for a wee while though so I picked up The Outer Wilds as it’s currently cheap on Steam. Should help exorcise some of the demons that the Foddster has left in my brain.
