That is the Hydra :) (unless the OP edited the spec after Keynes posted?)

If WH:TW is your main title, you may want to consider the Black Panthaa off the review section. WH:TW is quite demanding on the CPU and there are some articles saying it benefits from an i7 (and it also has faster DDR4).

Also the RX 480 will outperform the GTX 1060 in WH:TW.

It's £49 more but if WH:TW is your favourite game and you will likely be buying the two further instalments as well, it may ell be worth it for the Panthaa.

There was an article claiming that Nvidia cards in DX11 still outperformed AMD cards in DX12 in WH:TW. 6 days later a patch came out to improve Nvidia DX12 performance - the real effect as far as I could tell was to nerf my GTX 970's DX11 performance by 5fps (no DX12 improvement, but that was expected).

That said, it's not as though the Hydra couldn't run WH:TW on high settings. And the GTX 1060 will outperform the RX 480 across most DX11 games.

Thanks for the replies, yes it was the Hydra (from review) that I quoted, I only added the £5 warranty upgrade.

Was looking into the RX 480 as to what you said, and an i7 would be great if I could get a system within budget £1000 - £1200, especially as it might future proof me for a short while.

I just thought the Hydra was great especially on my budget.

The Hydra should deliver a fine gaming experience. The GTX 1060 6gb is better than the RX 480 in most DX11 games. And most games won't care a great deal whether you have an i5 or an i7.

However the Black Panthaa (immediately below the Hydra in the review section and with the £1049 fixed price) will outperform the Hydra in WH:TW due to the i7 and the RX 480, both of which the game prefers to the i5 and the GTX 1060gb (I also suspect the faster DDR4 will help too though don't have a benchmark for that).
